Bio-DTM Plastics is actively engaged in the development, marketing and selling of environmentally degradable polymers that meet functional standards and are environmentally and ecologically acceptable all over the world. By suitably using the Bio-DTM - system effective degradation both biodegradation and photodegradation can be achieved. Studies have shown that by using the Bio-DTM system 50% degradation occurs in the first month, 85% in the second month and in the third month of natural weathering complete degradation sets in leading to brittleness, disintegration and complete loss of mechanical strength in materials using this system.
